I am as much eclectic as I am simple as I am complex. Apples and bananas. Whimsical. Alert for adventure, yet seeking to settle awhile. My interests are not distracted with shiny baubles, things, cars and people. Digital gadgetry holds little appeal. Motor cars even less. Unless they are from an era pre-1970s, British and Italian with design flair and grace, using iron levers mechanicals and style, with more a sense of speed than cocooned isolation. New jellybean motor cars have no appeal for me. And if clothes from earlier periods were available new in the shops I would be happier. For now I will settle to wear pioneer garb, and a suit or black tie only when I must meet convention.<br><br>Economics, money, comfort are important. But these are basic. I prefer other topics sprinkled in conversation. Daily grind and survival are quintessential. Like the toaster and the computer. But I am not interested in discussing how they work. Active voice magazines, poetry, letters from friends.<br><br>The same thing with sport. I will go watch a local game if a friend is playing. But I do not enjoy professional sport unless it is Le Tour. I enjoy engaging in those sports in which I am interested. A former track + road athlete. I now mountain bike and enjoy the sport daily. I prefer participating to watching.<br><br>I understand football and cricket, played Union + dist, but since grown up. Now mountain treks, bush walking, notional small boat sailing, pitiable tennis + archery + notional horseriding, skydiving - a bit. Theodore is looking for... Someone imperfect who matches, meets, wants my own measure of masculine-feminine awareness, culture, art and adventure as I am inspired by her femininity and her independent mind, wit and art.
