Alan Braufman Valley Of Search Vinyl First ever reissue of the 1975 free jazz album from Alan Braufman on Light in the Attic via Inertia. Valley of Search is a document of the music at 501 Canal, the famous home of New Yorks acclaimed 1970 jazz underground. Following the release of Valley of Search, Braufman went on to work with drummer William Hooker and his own more commercially leaning groups (as Alan Michael). Players on the Valley of Search include Cooper-Moore, Cecil McBee, David Lee and Ralph Williams.
